Best Time for Manaslu and Annapurna Circuit Trek

Like any other trek, autumn( September, October, November) and spring( March, April, May) are considered to be favorable times of the year to embark on the Manaslu and Annapurna Circuit Trek. Spring brings out the best of nature in both regions with its rejuvenation. The moderately warm temperature, along with clear, stunning views of the Himalayas, will make your journey a best-value experience.

Similarly, autumn offers perfect climatic conditions with less chance of precipitation for trekking. The right temperature, accompanied by a fresh and cool breeze, will reduce the exhaustion of trekking. Furthermore, the unobstructed mountain views contrasting the blue sky throughout your journey are more rewarding and worthwhile.

Despite spring and autumn being favored by trekkers for the trek, monsoon and winter are equally rewarding. However, to make your journey convenient and comfortable, you have to be well-prepared for weather-related difficulties.

What Permits are Required for Manaslu and Annapurna Circuit Trek?

Since you will be entering the restricted area from Jagat until you reach Sama Gaon, you will have to obtain a special restricted area permit. So, you will have to obtain a Manaslu Conservation Area Permit for USD 30 per person. The next permit you will have to acquire is the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit. This permit will also cost you USD 30 per person.
