7 Days Langtang Trek is one the shortest and relatively easiest Himalayan explorations in Nepal. This trek follows an easy-grade route that doesn’t push to significant altitudes, and the trekking region is also pretty Kathmandu, which can be easily accessible by road. So, this trekking adventure can be throughout any period of the year.
However, for the ultimate experience, we recommend the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). During these periods of the year, the weather is pretty calm, which ensures a lively experience. In general, the spring season is famous as the highest point of nature, and the landscapes of the Himalayas are covered with lush greenery and bright flowers.
Similarly, the stable climate and warm temperatures of this season also attract more trekkers, even during the peak seasons. Autumn, on the other hand, is popular for the calm weather that never goes astray. The clear vistas, dry trails, wildlife sightseeing, and amazing cultural celebrations are some of the incredible highlights of the autumn season.
Temperature of Langtang Valley in Spring Season: 10°C to 21°C (can drop to -5°C at night)

Permits for Langtang Trek

In this exciting Himalayan adventure, you will enter the Langtang National Park enroute to Dhunhe. This national park, which was established in 1976, protects a wide array of endangered Himalayan flora and fauna. Thus, you will need a permit to enter this protected area, which costs around US$ 30 per person.
Children below the age of 10 don’t have to pay for the national park permit. Similarly, a TIMS Card is another mandatory requirement for this trek, which keeps a record of the trekker’s activity and strengthens the safety factors. This permit costs around US$ 17 per person.
